Practice Philosophy:
I understand that divorcing spouses are very vulnerable during this phase of their lives and look to professionals for guidance and objectivity in addressing financial and emotional issues. I firmly believe that Collaborative law offers an alternative to the advocacy process which often leads to bitterness and despair.
I believe that my role in the Collaborative process is to facilitate the necessary financial transition of the spouses in a supportive and understanding manner. The professional ethics of my profession dictate that I must be objective and possess the skills needed to perform this service. My personal philosophy is that I must perform those duties in such a way that both parties feel their dignity and integrity has been maintained in the process.
I have been a practicing CPA for over 30 years and, working under the direction of attorneys, am confident that I can offer clients the independence and objectivity needed to negotiate an agreeable financial settlement in the Collaborative process. |
