Practice Philosophy:
Financial issues often present one of the biggest challenges to be dealt with during the divorce process. It is my intention to provide a neutral, non-judgmental, non-adversarial forum in which individuals can discuss options, ask questions and become generally better informed about the financial impact of the many financial decisions which must be made in the context of divorce.
It is not uncommon for couples to come into this process with disparate degrees of understanding about money and their financial lives. Better decisions will be made if both parties have a grasp of the short-term and long-term financial ramifications. It is my belief that by helping both spouses make more informed choices and decisions about financial issues, my work as a financial professional contributes not only toward a more equitable settlement, but also increases the comfort level of both spouses and improves the likelihood that the reconfigured family can interact in a productive manner regarding finances post-divorce.
I feel privileged to be working in the collaborative divorce arena, as a member of this group of highly-experienced attorneys and allied professionals who share my commitment to helping people resolve family law disputes in a dignified, cooperative and peaceful manner. |
