Jerry D. Porter, Attorney at Law

Practice Philosophy:

When a client, parent, dear friend or colleague is going through divorce, I insist that they consider the collaborative model. This model offers the opportunity for a "better divorce" than the traditional litigated divorce. In over 20 cases completed so far, I find much higher client satisfaction using the collaborative process.

Most of the very best family law attorneys are getting training and experience in this process. Financial professionals and mental health experts assist as neutrals. These allied professionals are trained and experienced in the collaborative law process.

We insist on efficient information gathering and a safe, structured resolution process. Yet, the process encourages both flexibility and creativity sometimes not possible outside of the collaborative process.
